EDUtourism
Eco-Edutourism is an educational program designed to instil conservation values in the wider community through direct learning experiences in nature. This program aims not only to increase knowledge, but also to build awareness, care, and a sense of responsibility for the protection of wildlife and their ecosystems. The learning process is delivered in a fun, inspiring, and accessible way for people from various backgrounds, including students, university communities, workers, and the general public.
The main approach used is the hands-on experience method, a field-based learning approach that actively involves participants in real conservation activities. Through this method, participants do not only receive information passively, but take part in wildlife observation, habitat exploration, ecosystem studies, and practical conservation simulations. This direct involvement is highly effective in deepening understanding of conservation issues, building emotional connections with nature, and fostering long-term environmental awareness.
The hands-on experience approach also allows participants to directly observe the challenges faced in wildlife protection, particularly in the conservation of eagles, and to understand the important role of humans in maintaining ecological balance. By experiencing field processes firsthand, participants are encouraged to connect scientific knowledge with real conditions, making conservation messages more impactful and inspiring positive behavioral change.
